So much pain!

I had my breast augmentation on Monday and the pain is so bad:( one boob is a lot more swollen than the other and badly bruised, is this normal? I did call the out of hours number and they said this is normal but the pain is still awful at times. This morning I woke up with a constant sharp stabbing pain in my boob that wouldn’t go it was awful, after pain killers this has eased but I’m really worried, I have my follow up wound appointment on Wednesday, I feel like no one prepares you for how bad the pain is, I know a lot of people that have had them done that don’t recall the pain being this bad 🙁

I found the pain unbearable sometimes( I’ve had a child and a hand tattoo!! I thought I was good with pain 😂) , it does go away after a week or so but the pain when you wake up stays for atleast 2-3 weeks! I found being mobile helped rather than sat down xx,

Thank you that does make me feel better, I just wasn’t prepared for it to be this bad as so many people have said they didn’t have that much pain after the first few days, I don’t see the pain going any time soon and at times it’s unbearable, I’ve been questioning whether or not I’ve made the right decision because of how bad the pain is, I hope it’s worth it in the end :(! Xx

Did you have unders? As I understand it the pain is much worse with those as they cut your pec muscles. I had overs and I have more just a tight uncomfortable feeling. And my incisions under the strapping are itching so bad it’s driving me crazy. I’m 3 dpo today. I have heard women say it gets so bad they wonder why they did it. Just keep taking your meds and push through. Hope it gets better for you soon x

Oh I absolutely did the same! I questioned why on earth boobs meant this much and didn’t feel it was worth it, but when that pain goes away you’ll see exactly why you did it 😍 although I’d prefer to go through childbirth than this again 😂 hope everything’s eased off a little now, remember not to over do it by picking things up etc as I think I prolonged the pain from doing that xx

I had my surgery on Saturday and I’m still bed bound. I hurt so much. Of course it’s worth it they look great already, but I wasn’t prepared for this much pain? I thought it was a nice easy procedure.. the most I can achieve is going to the loo and even that has me holding my breath. Am I supposed to be up and about by now? This feels like when I had a csection but just higher up 🙁 pain relief doesn’t seem to help at all

I didn’t realise the pain was going to be this bad hope your feeling better soon I have my op on Monday I’m absolutely dreading it feel
So nervous more than my other surgery’s xx

Had my op yesterday today I’m in so much pain my left boob is much more painful is this normal? Like shooting stabbing pains where I feel I have to keep moving to get comfy on my bed it’s horrible I felt fine yesterday also boobs feel warm and swollen and Rock hard anyone else’s like this xxx

Hi Girls, ahhh don’t worry it all sounds normal!! For me, I would say I deffo turned a corner with by day 10 post op.. it just takes time just rest lots xx
