SO SICK :-(

Hey it’s 2 days after my operation and I’m feeling crazy sick, is this normal or should I be worried I literally can’t stand up for feeling so dizzy and sick 🙁 xxx

Ate you taking pain killers? If so u may find its them as they made me fell sick and dizzy as soon as I stopped I was fine x

Yea I am, they gave me two types of painkillers and an antibiotic… I feel like in dying! Xxx

Your proberbly find its then making u ill, if u can stop taking them and just take your antibiotics, mine only ached me so I didn’t really need pain killers if you get a day when you find they hurt just take 1 tablet, hope this helps it did with me:) x

I was the same, so I swapped my co-codamol for paracetamol and was fine after that. I didnt want to stop taking pain killers altogether as Ive got such a low pain threshold xx

Thanks girls, I’m gonna stop with the painkillers… I’m only aching really so hopefully I can do without them xxx

You need to take the painkillers with food, like a plain cracker – i found that helped.I had the same and stopped taking the codryamol and put up with the pain as the sickness was awful! Hope you are feeling better soon hon x

Hi lauren i was exactly the same i had my op last sunday and was given co-codimol and ibrufen i think there called and i woke up the middle of monday night and was sick i felt so ill and all i wanted to do was to be sick and i also felt dizzy. I stopped takeing the painkillers and started takeing just paracetamol and my antibiotics. You will probably find if you stop takeing the painkillers you should be feeling better in a few hours xx

Hey jasmine, your right I haven’t taken them since 8 this morning and I feel better for it already, I couldn’t believe how bad they was making me feel, I’m taking paracetamol instead now and almost feel human again 🙂 xxx
