So so gutted :(

Hi girls, hoping someone’s had similar experience and can advise! Basically I had my pre op last week and I told the nurse I’ve got a slight problem with my toe caused by wearing heels etc but I’m getting it sorted, been to see the specialist about it tonight and he’s sorting it out for me next Monday, but he said he wants me to take antibiotics a few days before/after he does it as there’s a bit of infection.. I told him about my BA being booked for the following Sunday and he said to double check because he doesn’t know if they will go ahead with it! 🙁 I’m not sure if its because I’ll have been on antibiotics a few days before or what, but I’m literally so gutted! I can’t get another week off work until next year and I’m all mentally prepared for it now!
Ringing mya tomorrow to see what they say, so scared.. has anyone had anything similar in the run up to their op?? …Sorry about the rant!! Haha xxxx

Can’t you reschedule the specialist and your toe to another time? After your BA

Hey, yeah thats what I thought as it isn’t really affecting me, but he said he thinks it might be a bit infected so I need to get it cleared up before the op as they won’t do it if I turn up with an infection , even if it is tiny and at the other end of my body! But i don’t think they’ll do it so close to me having the local anaesthetic and antibiotics to clear it up either.. ? I so hope I’m wrong!

Ive got to have surgery on my toe but next.month and had ba this morning. Id postpone the toe surgery xxx
