So unhappy with the outcome of my surgery… Mya ignoring me.

I have been trying to get hold of a Patient Coordinator from Mya since April, and no one ever bothers to call me back. Has anyone else been in a similar situation, and how did you manage to speak to someone in the end?

If your having that much trouble then I would definitely recommend going into the clinic itself. And refuse to leave until you’ve been seen or had an appointment made where you can discuss the matter further. X

Although I’m over the moon with my surgery and outcome etc I have to say that my PC also stopped replying to me after my surgery. Even really simple questions, no reply at all. That’s my only criticism of my whole experience. I’m sorry to hear you aren’t happy, I hope it ends well for you and you get the results you’ve dreamed of x

I am with Mya Fitzroy… my patient coordinator has left, I assume, as there is never any response on her phone.

I have left numerous messages at the front desk to be told the patient coordinator manager is dealing with me and will call me back that day… but no one ever does. It’s getting so frustrating.

I shouldn’t have to have the day off work and travel up to London just to demand someone speak to me when all I need is a 5 minute phone conversation to discuss where we go from here. I was so happy with the level of service up until now, and now, I am just really disappointed (as well as unhappy with my boobs) 🙁

Can you not ask to speak to someone higher and say you’ll ring every day until you get dealt with? Why are you unhappy with your boobs? 🙁

I had my surgery done in September 2016…. so they are over 18 months old now. The time that it takes for them to apparently ‘settle’ and be their true self.

They have always been much bigger than I wanted. I was told they’d settle…. obviously I had no idea what ml size I wanted, but trusted my surgeon when I said I didn’t want to be any bigger than a DD, made it clear I didn’t want my boobs to be huge, didn’t want it to be the first thing people noticed about me… and I’ve ended up with GG’s which are ridiculously big and if I wear anything low cut they are just there. I spend my entire life covering them up, and even if I did want to wear a low cut top, they have dropped so much from the weight, that the cleavage is absolutely shocking and I would need to wear a bra. I didn’t want to end up with a massively bigger version of what I had before. My back is so sore from them, I have rippling in one of my boobs. I was told at the time of surgery that I may need an uplift in 5-10 years time… I asked about doing it at the same time, and was told no, I definitely didn’t need it…. I feel that is exactly what was needed, and I was advised wrong on size. Now I am left with these monstrosities which are making me so upset 🙁

What’s size implants did you have to reach GG if you don’t mind me asking? I had my first surgery with MYA but wasn’t happy with the aftercare so just had my second with another xx

Hey Alice, when you were talking to the surgeon did you agree on a size and then it change last minute, or was the size you originally agreed on? Im so sorry to hear about how you feel about your results 🙁 Is it possible to book a revision?? xx

Hi Alice sorry that your having trouble getting an ap with mya regards to you have gone bigger than expected did they not go though with you that they can’t gurantee the outcome of the size you will get as everybody is different and everybody’s body will take to implants different ? Also you say you didn’t want a bigger version on what you already had but my surgeon told me we only get a bigger version of what we already have my sugoen also said everyone will get rippling weather it’s seen or felt I was also told to wehere a bra for bed to pervent them sagging but that could of possiable because I had 600cc and I’ve come out at an e/f depending on where I go for bras I don’t wanna sound negative to you but I don’t think my would agree to revision based on what you have said you would most probably have to pay for a second augury and uplift xxx
