Some advice girls!!!

Hi girls! Finally we are back online woohoo 🙂

Planning on having my BA done in June 2013 as im a drama student and have to wait until Summer so I can have a good 6 weeks off!
I am dying to get the process started now really as I have waited so long, I am just wondering is now too soon to go for my consultation?
Will I be asked to come back to see a surgeon nearer the time if I have my initial general info consult now? Just wondered what the process is if your not planning surgery in the next few months.

Any advice would be amazing! Thank you in advance xx

ha ha I know yer I have missed the forum too :). I would go for the consultation now as I don’t see any harm in getting the ball rolling so to speak 🙂 and also if they quote you a price now and you pay a deposit it might save you some money in the long run as the prices will probably increase between now and June 2013.
i am not sure if you would see the surgeon now or at a later date tho !
Go for it hun then at least you know how much you will be paying and plenty of time to do your homework on what size you would like etc.

Yeah I have been to a consultation before with MYA, this was a good while back now. I have researched literally everything possible, the PC couldnt believe how clued up I was haha! So I will still need that general info consulation again wont I? But now I am more interested now in booking a date and getting size options etc.. that is why I am unsure whether its best to leave it til nearer the time. But as you say, it probably is best to do it now with prices increasing etc..

Also Hun I think they would be more than happy for you to secure your date and booking however far in advance it is. It would be good for you to see the surgeon now see if he’s the right one for you.

Glad to hear your enjoying them! Its been something ive wanted forever so I just want to get something sorted so I have it to look forward to!
Just booked in for this Saturday so im really excited. The lady I spoke to also said I can wait then until the new year to meet with my surgeon and book the surgery which sounds perfect!
