Hi ladies, I’m sorry to be really annoying but I need advice.
Firstly my left incision is really sore, is this normal as there’s no pain in the other.
I literally cannot take my bra off – it hurts so bad and feels like my skin is going to rip!
I keep finding myself slipping down in the night. Worried I’ll displace the implants!
Also, feeling and hearing lots of air in left breast. Has anyone experienced this? Will it go away?
Last one, I’ve read you shouldn’t take ibuprofen for the first two weeks as it can cause bleeding! Has anyone been told not to take it? Xxx

Hi Kate not had mine yet but been a forum lurker for a while… all of the concerns regarding incision and air are things that I’ve seen discussed on here before and are apparently normal.
Lots if women also seem to be sliding down into a lying position at night. One lady even said she woke up on her front one morning- you can only try your best to stay upright.
As for the Ibruprofwn I’m having my op today so I will ask the question and get back to you z

Hi Kate. I’m now 13DPO and I’ve experienced most of these (except the incision pain) – I had air bubbles for about the first week, they eventually just went. I was told to take paracetamol & ibuprofen for pain relief. I believe ibuprofen can help with the swelling. Also I wouldn’t worry too much about slipping down at night. I found sleeping upright was causing me too much back pain and I was only sleeping for 30min intervals so I ended up sleeping on my back from 3DPO and everything has been ok so far xx

Thanks Lex. Yes, my partner mentioned it to me, but I was sick after taking my cocodamol and the nurse gave me ibuprofen. Also, my friend just had ibuprofen and paracetamol after hers. I don’t want to risk it though. Thanks again xxx

Pop a pillow or a couple under your knees, this did help me to along with a load of pillows behind me I use me V pillow in the bottom of my back with each end bit to my sides. So it felt like I was sat in a very comfy arm chair. If that’s any help to you, I brought cheap extra pillows from Asda. Sorry if that bit long winded explanation lol, x

Ibruprofen is a anti inflammatory (im sure it’s asprin that you shouldn’t take as it thins the blood, a lot of older ppl take asprin Adam to thin their blood which in turn makes them feel the cold quicker)…. I tok paracetamol ibruprofen and codeine, I didn’t go with mya and wasn’t told to sleep upright ive been propped up a bit because it’s the most comfy way I can sleep, I no a few ppl that went were I did and none were told to sleep upright so I wouldn’t be concerned as long as your ot on your front or side your be fine, im gonna did out today wen I can sleep ony side though. Your incisions will feel sore bt keep topped up on meds, im 12dpo and feel fine now back to myself im just careful when lifting my son I only do it wen I have to I try not to bend etc not coz of pain but just because I want them to heal well xx
