soooo would love a BATH when can I???

Girls so could do with a lonnnnngggggg soak in a bubbly bath! What’s the time scale on being able too? Had 3 4 of a bath but sure isn’t the same 🙁

They usually say wait until your last consultation with the nurse who can give you the all clear after checking that you’ve healed ok! I know it’s really frustrating, I was dying for a bath after mine too!

ewwww@candybabey me tooooo it will kill me not bein able to bath i wash my hair everyday n have bath like twice a day lol

it’s 6 weeks just so that the incisions have chance to heal over some more and reduce the chance of an infection occurring xx

I’m not looking forward to that either – and I’m not sure I’ll cope relying on my husband to wash my hair for me, men aren’t as thorough and don’t take care with hair at all. I’m going to book myself into the hairdressers to get my hair all braided before surgery so it doesn’t get as dirty when I can’t wash it. And I can imagine getting really annoyed with not having baths or showers for a while…. I think the first wash after waiting will feel heavenly!

Chanel ye b I’m like thinking uh uh no way is all that sweat and grease is rolling in my bed and duvet covers il feel all icky icky Il find a solution somehow! how weird is that you’d think you need keep clean to get no infection looks like UNcleanliness prevents infection from occurring errrmmm lol so anyways yhepp defo not looking foward to that and was I having a rant? I guess so lol I’m such a freek love my bath for life <3

A full bath is ok at around 6 weeks, perhaps 8 depending on your incisions. Getting them wet for long periods of time can lead to infection early on x
