sore around incision!!!

I’m really sore girls, had ba yesterday got home today and my Macon had arrived but my incisions are so sore, the bra lies lower so its not that but im in so much pain, has anyone else had this pain? Also have aching heavy boobs but guessing this is normal xx

All sounds normal Louise. You taking your meds 4 hourly? I even took mine in the middle of the night, to keep topped up. I kept a little note of the times so I didn’t forget. They do feel very heavy, tender, burning, and generally bloody uncomfortable, I was sore round the incisions and am still tender 3 1/2 weeks PO. You shouldn’t be in lots of pain tho and if you are, talk to MYA and see if they canb can try you on different painkillers. Remember to take your antiobitocs religiously. It does get easier xx

My incisions don’t feel to sorei just feel really tight and heavy and I’m just struggling moving my arms around but all In all it’s been a lot easier than what I thought! Hope your okay louise are they stinging? Xxx

Hey! Congrats on the new boobies! I’d say what you’re feeling is pretty normal! I had one really sore incision and it just stung in the corner every time I moved.. turned out the strapping was just a bit too tight and had rubbed a little hole in it.. I just loosened up the strapping in that area and it soon healed itself back up. I’d say keep taking your painkillers and monitor it, if they sting too much or if it’s just in one specific place on your incision, call your nurse and see what she advises.. might be something simple like me that makes all the difference, was such a relief just loosening it up that little bit! 🙂 Hope you feel better soon xxx

Thanks girls yeah its a constant stinging its so uncomfortable and I’m taking mess every 4 hours on the dot, will see how i am tomorrow, just had codeine was feeling really sickly taking co-codamol xx
