Sore bum after sleeping upright

Ouch how do I prevent this

Hot water bottle under it hun, works a treat xx

Whilst sleeping ? An is it ok to sleep at an angle? The surgery doesn’t even hurt much compared to the site bum lol

Wiggle around a bit and find a more comfy position is what I did.

Not much fun, but hey it passes.

How upright are you sleeping? I’m about 45degrees not getting a sore bum but it is making me wake up all the time as being in the same position all night x

It’s my lower back that’s hurting!!!

Ohh I forgot for variety sometimes stick a pillow under your bum.

lower back pain means you probably need more support behind it.

I’m gonna rearrange my pillows tonight I’ve got 2 v pillows so gonna put one behind my back x

Me too @5stonedown. When I switched to sleeping on the corner sofa I actually had the best night sleep yet. I might look into the hot water bottle, as the back pain, along with sore bum is the worst part of this recovery.

I found a pillow under my bum/upper thighs worked. So your knees are slightly raised. Like the comfy hospital beds lol
