Sports bra

So I had my op last Friday and have strapping on. Four days In and I haven’t managed to lift my arms to put on a sports bra then I forgot. Do you have to wear them whilst having strapping or just after the strapping comes off. Panic. I have now put one on (day 5 and they now feel supported) as the strapping started to peel off. Worried they will be saggy now as I’m

Hey hun, I had no idea we were meant to wear it aswell as the strapping! I thought the sports bras were for when the strapping comes off! My surgery was last Friday aswell and I haven’t worn one yet :-/ but what’s your strapping like? Mines soo tight I can barely breathe! Lol I don’t think the first weeks gonna affect the ‘sagginess’ cuz they’re gonna be swollen and haven’t dropped yet, that’s what I’m hoping anyway! Lol xx

hey hun! i havent had my surgery yet but been told by my nurse that i will need to get a sports bra a cup size bigger (34f) to wear on top of the strapping and then when the strapping comes off i can then wear 34dd. She told me to wear the sports bra with the strapping day and night. hope this helps. dont worry dont wont get saggy 😛 it takes ages for them to drop anyway! im sure they will fab! xxx

I had my op yesterday and they told me I didn’t need to go home in my sports bra. I tried on my DD one today and it didn’t fit so I’ve had to order some bigger ones! So as of yet I haven’t worn one yet just my strapping. But my strapping is really tight and hard for me to breathe too, so I’m happy not to wear a sports bra over it as it will just make it more tight and uncomfortable x

I had Mr Singh who told me to take the strapping off on day 4 and then put the most comfortable non wired non padded bra on. Those were his exact words. X

The nurse and dr kazzazi told me that you don’t wear a sports bra until you get your strapping removed (which mine got taken off by the nurse on day 7 post op) xx
