Hi
It is very important that you get maximum support for your new boobs. You don’t want the implants to settle in an odd position!
It seems like you’re not wearing the right sports bra. It shouldn’t be uncomfortable at all.
I’m 3 month post op and I’m still wearing a sports bra to bed. It feels much more comfortable.
try the front fastening from pure lime or the front zipped one from M&S.
Let me know if you want more info on them :o)
Thanks hun… maybe you are right maybe i need to try another brand, it sound stupid after all the money for the op but im just concious of buying another bra at this early stage – It may not fit me next week… Im only 9 days post op today – I guess ive still got swelling? Although my boobs have started to soften in places now…

Hi Danielle
I think you should be okay for your hols,i was a 32d before the op and went up to a 32ff with 505cc low profile. The first 10 days for me was so uncomfortable with the sports bra’s cos they were changing shape and size every-day.My surgeon told me that i had to wear the sports bra for 6 wks but could wear a normal bra on the odd night out but to put the sports bra on as soon as i got home.By about wk 5 i was wearing a bra most of the time but still wearing the sports bra for bed-which i still do now(i had mine done 6th march)and think i probably always will cos i don’t want them sagging.I think for your holiday you would be better to get some underwired bikini’s so you have good support but this will depend on your scar’s,mine were fine but i know some people find the underwiring irritates their scar’s.Hope this helps.

Hi Gwen,
When i posted my last comment i had only been in my sports bra 2 days… The 1st 7 days i was strapped up with what felt like duck tape!! hehe, im actually coping okay now with my sports bra, ive come to realise it must of been too small!!
I have to admit i went cheap & cheerful but now my swellings almost gone i’ll be investing in a decent one…
Thanks xx
