sports bra size help

Had 300cc HP from a flat 32a. I’ve bought 2 32 D sports bra’s which atm the cups are a bit too big over my strapping. Is it likely to fit once my strapping is off or should I change them for a C cup? Don’t want to swap them and then them be too small once my strapping is off! X
