Is anyone else suffering from a really spotty face since surgery…..

im 18days post op, gone from oily to spotty ???????? xx

Not on my face but my chest is gross! I’m 6DPO. Maybe it’s the heat we’ve had lately!

I’m 4 weekPO and my chest is spotty !? I’m using tea tree wipes on it

i have been steaming it over a bowl of boiled water with towel on my head, drinking plenty of water aswell its not clearing! i dont wear foundation so i cant even try to cover it ????????

yeah it comes down my neck & on my chest!
looking like i need to just ride it out xx

My chest is gross too! Randomly got spots and acne on chest/cleavage area 🙁 thats why been so shy taking before/after pics haha! got a cream to hopefully clear them asaps but im sure the heat is a big factor in it too ugh, im 10 days PO now x

I’ve had really oily face since the op!

My face has been terrible I had my op on 15th June and my cheeks and chin are the worst they’ve ever been 🙁 my skin was so oily for ablut a week post op also xx

hi girls has anyone elses cleared up yet? mines still really bad, really getting me down! 26days & i look like i have just been hit by puberty bus right on my face ???? i have tried not to put anything on it, just washing my face with water – i dont know what to do x

How about trying same anti histamines for a couple of weeks to see if that helps. X

yeah im so embarrassed haha to post any pics because its now all over my chest and cleavage and shoulders !!! 🙁 so jealous when i see people posting pics of their boobs and their chest and cleavage is completely clear, really makes them look so much better, my mum and surgeon said not to put anything on them till at least all dressings off and its been a few weeks since BA im currently 19 DPO x

I’ve read it’s normal after anaesthetic. Get some tea tree products to help clear it up. A good scrub will help god rid of excess oil x

Hi, I am having the same issue with the spotty face. Im 19 DPO and its horrendous, don’t know what to do! Anyone recommend scrubbing for face as well? xxx

I’m 23dpo and noticed for the first few weeks my skin was so oily, make up was just sliding off my face halfway through the day and haven’t had that problem since I was a teenager! The oilyness isn’t as bad now but I have had an awful breakout this week (again not had this for years) so I do think it could be related. My chest is really oily too as I have the odd few little red bumps (not spots though?) xxx

I’m the same on chest and face! It’s horrid :-/ hope it clears up soon xx

Glad to know I’m not the only one, but not glad we have this issue, it’s frustrating. Are you ladies putting any cream, or using anything specific for the face (or chest)? I don’t trust any product (that I can think of) at the minute in case it’s making it worse 🙁 xxx

I’m 4 wks p.o. my chest was awful really bumpy and spotty some of them white head spots , I keep getting alot of spots on my face aswell apparently it’s something to do with the trauma your body go through after your op and can take weeks and weeks to clear my chest isn’t bumpy anymore but I’m still getting random white heads popping up all over my body I keep having a shower and a good scrub drying them out helps alot your skin needs to be nice and dry for abit it really does help x

Hey hun, thanks for the advice! Yes, I am having those white heads ugly ones popping up as well. I shall try having a face scrub tonight and dry it out, see how it gets. xx

A sif us girlies didn’t have enough to contend with having surgery! Just come across this post, I don’t have the greatest skin anyway so fearing the worst now lol xx

I used Johnstones baby wipes on mine and simple face wash and it worked a treat… no spots… oily skin for 3 days xx
