starting to feel like a freak. why am I so different?

Ok any ladies who have woken from there op had pain for 30 minutes to an hour then thats it plz speak up as im starting to think theres something wrong with me!! Lol.
im not moaning by all means! Very VERY happy that this has been so painless and feel extremely lucky. But is my pain threshold THAT much different to everyone elses?
day 1 after an hour was up dressed (unaided) make up on, then haad the best nights sleep in MONTHS as my 2 year old was not there to disturb me.
next day up, washed, dressed unaided again.. nice english breakfast with my parents before the 3 hour drive home.
Admittedly was sleepy on way home so had a nap. But after getting home have pretty much been my self but with a feeling of tightness in my boobs. Have been able to lift my arms slowly above my head from 2 hours after op. 3 days later was shaving under my arms and legs and other areas 😉
The overall worst part for me has been the meds messsing with ur digestion system and going around 3 or 4 days without moving my bowls even though id taken enough senna to make a blue whale have the runs! My tip would b not taking the co codamol and sticking to 500mg of ibropufen. Worst pain ever feeling that constipated and bloated.
Any who im day 7 po today and had 1 hour of pain in my left boob about 2 days ago which was a worry. But I feel great. Driving cleaning every day normal life, alart from lifting and sleeping……..
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME?!??!!
plz tell me there r others out there like me so I dont start to think im an alien or something! ! Haha xx

Youre so lucky lol. Ive got my surgery on the 4th nov, i hope mines like this 🙂 My friend had hers done in april tho and she said the same as you, she even went on holiday to devon with her 4 year old the day after!!! Xx

Hey hun, don’t worry your not a freak i was exactly the same!! I’m just over two weeks post op and i’ve been in no pain either! I woke up from my op and was in a lot of pain then but they gave me something for that and it went away. When i was back home i wasn’t in any pain, just a bit uncomfortable with the strapping on. It was just annoying more than anything.
Before i left the hospital i was waiting in reception for a taxi, and a girl was sat waiting for her first consultation, and she seemed shocked i’d just had my op and was walking around fine and in no pain! So hello to you if your reading this haha.
The meds just literally made me sleep for a week, all day every day! They did make me feel sick though, thats the only bad part of my recovery so far but i was never actually sick so i can’t complain too much.
Since having strapping off i’ve been fine too, i get the odd twinge here and there and i get ‘morning boob’ where there sore and achey in the mornings, and sometimes i feel a bit breathless (i’m guessing from the weight) but again i can’t complain. Its nothing your body can’t handle!
I was starting to think i was a freak too, as i have a very low pain threshold!! Even when my drains were taken out i was fine, sat there smiling!!

Who was your surgeon hun? Hope you continue having such a good recovery!! 🙂 xxxx

You not meant to be doing stuff they say that 1-3 weeks it’s the most. Important thing is to rest and no lifting your arms and carrying or anything as this is a part of final out come of your implants and last thing you want is CC and your implants not dropping right and as for going to the loo this normal as this is wot happens when you have general anaesthesia my belly was big for 2-3 weeks as it need s get out of your body U need to take more care chick x

Did you have overs or unders?x

and im not lifting which is killing me as miss picking my little princess up so much.
also had plenty of help from my mother partner friend and son so not over doing it. But yeah washing the pots or making lunch has been easy. Dont worry babe ive not cleaned my house from top to bottom or anything……its the first time ever to not have to do anything and get away with it haha.
But im not tired, no pain and feel really good.
Obviously I dont want to cause my self any damage so I do keep having to remind my self or be reminded my everyone around me. But I am pleased im not like some of the poor women ive read about on here who have really suffered. Its nice to know that im also not alone in being like this. Im still so early and have alot of changes to go through the last thing I want to do is hurt myself. So I guess sit down with a cuppa woman and rest 🙂 xx

Just be glad Hun haha that’s mad cause you had big Implants didn’t you? Did you have loose skin before? I did so that’s why I don’t feel the burning I think,, I’m only 1 day PO feeling good just sore I can’t dress myself though was stiff this morn. Did you feel like yours where quite pointy at first it’s so weird I love them I just can’t wait now for them to settle haha xx I’m so impatient

Yeah I had 800s clair and also lose skin. Was advised an uplift but I didnt want to spend nearly 7 grand to get to a DD from a 36C. The whole point of havibg the op was to get large implants to make me finally feel in proportion. Not to get pert boobs like a 19 year old haha.
Id describe the first week like having to bowling balls attatched to my chest…..which I always said I wouldbt want, but kinda like it lol. There slowly starting to soften and I know it can be a long process which is annoying as like u im super impatient! Want to bra and bikini shop and feel like there mine. Roll on a few weeks time huh 🙂
to be honest I had a REALLY bad day yesterday. I wanted to wash the bra I have on but its hand wash and line dry only. So did that and thought a few hours with a different sports bra on would be ok. They told me to get a 38G and then 36F for when swelling had gone down a bit. So didnt think the F would be a problem while the other dried. WRONG!!!!
by the time I started to feel uneasy it was too late as I was in town, the bra was ob the looses clip at the back and the straps over the shoulders the looses and it felt like it was tight over the top of my bust pushing it down. I was in AGONY! where I live is small and no where sells over an E cup! So by the time id gotten hone and managed to get the other bra dry I was nearly crying with pain. I was thinking this serves u right for putting on mya how easy its been and now u feel like ur dying lol.
god I was not good yesterday 🙁 and by the time I got to bed my mind was going crazy with all the things I may have done to damage them.
im feeling much better today but still very sore and tender. Stuff cleanliness from now on cos I refuse to EVER take this sports bra off again hahahaha.
but it did make me realise that what we have done is a massive op and just cos I feel ok doesnt mean that I am. So laying on the sofa resting as I really dont want to hurt my new fun bags. I love them to much and ill kill if anyone tries to take them out of me lol lol lol.
