Staying overnight

Hi girlies

Has anyone stayed over night? What’s included for it to be so expensive? Did you have a time to check out? Thanks x

ive been told im having an overnight stay but havent had to pay any extra? is there an additional cost? x

Hi Nicky did you post before about saying because you were having unders you were told you’d have to stay overnight!? If so I had unders and was told I could stay or not… I chose not to and fully regret it! My admission time was 10am am didn’t have surgery till 2:20 so I had hardly anytime to just rest!

Yes they did tell me I had to stay overnight, but it’s just so expensive! But on the other hand I’m thinking is it best as I will get looked after, was it really painful after ur surgery? X

I stayed over night at the First Trust Hospital in Preston and it was lovely. Over night stay they need you out of your room before 10 (for the patients coming in that day and to have enough time to clean). You get food and drinks paid for whilst you stay. I had a 9:30am admission time, got put in my room and it’s spacious clean, small flat screen tv with a lot of channels, big en-suite bathroom. I wasn’t allowed to eat before my surgery, but I got in at about 11:30 – staff were lovely, plenty to choose from food and drink wise. xx

I stayed over at Preston also and was so well looked after. Couldn’t recommend it enough. The two night nurses I had looking after me were the nicest ladies yoy could meet and brought me a sandwich at 11pm as I was asleep when it was dinner time. xxx
