I dont think u have to stay over, usually u decide yourself whether u want to stay or nt. over night stay is normally recommended if u cud have complications tho.x

    Hiya Sunshine…

I had my op almost 3 weeks ago (also at Doncaster)… Everyone is different i know but im glad i had the overnight stay… the money side of things didnt really come into it for me, i looked at it as needing the aftercare after op…

Speak to your co-ordinator they will advise you on what’s best for you

    Hi,

If i was you, i would opt for staying over night, as you can put your mind at rest, that if anything goes wrong you are in the hospital, and you can see a nurse straight away.
I am having my BA on the 2nd Aug in highgate, and i am defo staying over night, i would rather pay the extra.

hey im 7 days post op now.
id definetly recommend u staying the night! as soon as id had mine done i wanted to go home the same day. but its great having the nurses there. theyre all lovely and always checking in on u! private hospitals are much nicer than NHS hopsitals too. u get ur own ensuite room with flatscreen tv.. and the food is lovely lol! its safer to stay overnight anyway, as ur blood pressure is monitored and u have to take meds every few hours.

Thank you all for your messgages…i’ve made my decision to stay over as like you say if anything goes wrong it’s better to be safe than sorry plus it’s not worth the hasstle.

    Thanks again, Sunshine xx
