Steri strips

I should have removed the strips on my incisions yesterday but am abit nervous. Has anyone done this?!? I wasn’t given any extras but am back to see the Nurse on Wednesday so not sure if I should just wait until then

Your meant to keep them on chick did she tell u take them off ? I got some from boots and re placed mine x

Oh perfect! As I had my strapping off early 5 days PO, Nurse replaced them and said I should keep them on another 5 days. I am happy to keep em on though. Thanks for letting me know x

U can get the bigger strips from Asda at there pharmacy just keep them clean n dry for now xx

I have my strapping off yesterday 10 days post op. She put me 3 steri strips on each sides as the ends of my inscisions havent quite knitted together. She told me to removed them on Thursday and she will see me at my 6 weeks check.
Just hope they are ok on Thursday x

I went to see the Nurse today and ny incisions have fully healed now. No more sterile strips for me, I’m excited for ny 6 week op now as I know they will change so much between now and then x
