Steri strips

I’m due to take my steri strips off my incisions tomorrow, what do I do if there not dry & closed fully & how do you know there healing correctly? Xxx

Hey sweetie I would buy a pack from boots and peel them off with clean hands then use antiseptic liquid on a cottonwood pad and then clean up If they are not healed replaced the new strips on x

Also remember you start on inside and pull to the outside x

My nurse told me to take mine off after my first shower as they will be easier to get off when wet. She gave me extra ones to put on if I felt I needed to afterwards but said they were already closed up nicely. Don’t worry too much babe just use a mirror and go slow xxx

Okay girls thanks I don’t know whether to do it before I shower just incase there not closed fully? I’m going to go buy some then before I take these of just incase! I hope I don’t need them though, are they just boots own I buy?xxx
