Still being sick…

I’m only 2 days post op but I cannot stop being sick, im drinking plenty of fluids but this means I’m not keeping my antibiotics down, does this mean it’s not working? I feel horrendous! Anybody else felt like this? Xxx

Probably a bad reaction to the anaesthetic babe 🙁 I hope you start feeling better soon! Maybe try some anti sickness tablets see if you can keep those down? No wonder you feel rough, your antibiotics won’t be working if you’re being sick xx

Thanks for accepting 🙂 I can’t even keep anti sickness tablets down. I don’t wanna skip taking my antibiotics but if they are making me sick bit pointless taking them lol. Oh god let’s hope I don’t end up with an infection then lol. Xx

Have you told your nurse!? It’s very possible you could be allergic to the type of antibiotic, I get this at work all the time and we have to prescribe an alternative.

Are you taking co codamol? it makes me really sick x

Hey hun. I was really sick throwing up all sorts up to 2 days after my op. I didn’t take any antibiotics or painkillers all this time as I just keep sucking them back up. The aneasthetic really didn’t agree with me. Prob the same with you hun but if it doesn’t stop speak to a nurse xx

Thanks for the advice girls, I’m unsure how to tag you all lol. I didn’t take the co codomal Amy as that has never agreed with me. I’m not the best for taking tablets either lol. Feeling so much better today, so far so good 🙂 thanks again girlies. Xx
