Still bloated at day 16

Hi ladies

How long does it take for the bloating to go away. My hubbys just said u sure ur not pregnant i could have cried. My tummy was so flat before the op and i was proud of it now i hate it looks awfull. Since the op iv gained 3-4lb but not changed eating habits or anything and iv been constantly on the go. Xx

It’s all the tablets in your system Hun! I was bloated for 2 weeks, I promise you it goes! I looked pregnant when I was bloated and even contemplated waddling everywhere haha xx

I stopped taking tablets on day 4. Just wish it would hurry up and go. Xx

Oh really?! I took mine for 7 days so I know why I was so bloated! Have something fizzy to drink I kneo that can help xx

Iv drinking water and then had the odd glass of pepsi max. I cant do my jeans up and iv gained like 3-4lb and i dunno how x

I was exactly the same and I’m 3 weeks PO today and I feel that it was only Saturday when I didn’t feel as bloated, still a little bit but I can finally get my jeans done up again without struggling! xx

I stopped taking my tablets on day three and im still bloated now at 12 days, its slowly going down. it’s pretty normal from what ive read most people say just over two weeks! hope your recovery is going okay xxxx

I’m only on day 3 post op and already sick of being bloated so I’ve stopped all pills. I look ridiculous and the strapping is so tight that my shoulders are constantly hunched forwards, so painful and unattractive. Feeling rubbish ? xxx

@ashleighk28 don’t worry I was the same it lasted about 3weeks even the nurse was shocked how bloated I still was it just affects people differently xx

Thanks everyone i bought some peppermint tea to see if that will speed things up. Does anyone know how much the implants weigh. I hd 375hp xx

Im exactly the same ive cried everyday since coz I look 6 months preg and can get in any of my jeans im 2 weeks post op 2mrw. It’s started going down a bit today Ive noticed. I even said to the nurse last week when she removed the strapping are you sure they didn’t put one in my bellyand not my boobs x

Clare it’s awful ain’t it not fitting into your jeans. It looks okay when I first get up then bam it swells up. Hopefully it goes down soon for both of us xx

Oh god yea it is instead of looking at my new boobies im looking at my huge belly :0( I nearly bought new jeans today then got the hump and stormed out the shop lol x
