Stitch poking out – what do I do?

Hi girls,

Last night I discovered that one of my stitches was poking out by quite a bit. I have dis-solvable stitches but don’t have a clue what to do now! Any help??

Hey hun i had this ring your nurse up she mite trim it off for you be careful of what you do as it can get infected so i would ring asap and tell her. When i had mine they told me they could take upto 6 months to dissolve properly so ring her up and see what she says x

Hi – thanks, I gave her a call and she said it’s normal. Said I could come in and see her early or wait until my appointment next week and use dressings over it. Xx
