Stitches 5 weeks po advice please

Hi Girls,

Can anyone advise on stitches. I am 5 weeks po and still have 2 stitches in one breast and 1 in the other. I will try upload photos to show as I feel like they are scabbing over.

Can I just pull them out?!

Hi, I haven’t had my op but at pre op the nurse explained they have to be trimmed at check up then will come out on their own . Not sure what week check though xx

I had still had a stitch at the end of my incision were they tie the knot and I left it and I still had it at 5 weeks post op but I left it and it’s gone now I found getting a shower like twice a day helped xx

ok thanks girls, I have my next check up on Thursday so will wait and ask the Nurse.x
