Stitches not dissolving

Hey girls! Incisions are healing so neat but in my left one the two stitches (one at each end) don’t seem to be dissolving and I’m nearly 4 weeks? Shall I leave them or attempt taking them out by myself? I tried pulling them
A little but nothing happened!

Hey Hun I’ve got the same at 3 weeks. Leave them and don’t pull them. When I saw my nurse she said that the ones poking out will take longer to dissolve! Xx

Leave them if they are not disolved by ur 6-8week check they will take them out for u x

Ahhh I see! Yes these two are poking out at each side of incision! So they will dissolve eventually then? Good good 🙂

Hey, don’t worry they will go, one of mine scabbed up on one end with the stitches and it only came off at 9 weeks! Hang in there 🙂 xx

Yes there is a scab underneath stitch preventing scab not to fall off!! Thanks girlies I will leave them 😀

I just pulled them out done the same with my nose xx

Hey Zo, Dont worry – me too! I panicked because I thought it was cotton wool from my white sports bra haha. spoke to a friend and she said exactly the same…
I can barely see my incisions now, a scab here and there but that’s all 🙂 hope your healing well boobie bud x
