Strange feeling – did one of my implants (partials) just 'drop'? Help!

A question for post op ladies!

Obviously I’ve had the tension feeling in my boobs since the op, which are partially under the muscles, so always feel like my pec muscle is clenching them tight up on my chest.

Anyway, just as I was walking from the train (I had run for it shortly before) I felt a kind of ‘pop’ then a little light relief from the boob in question.

Best way to describe it, is it kind of feels like it dropped down or something, I mean it looks ok and to be honest feels much better than the right one. My righty still feels tight and like it’s being ‘held up’ by the muscle.

Is this okay or has something gone wrong?! Worried in case it’s fallen out of its pocket or our of the muscle something!

My left one did a similar thing, but less of a pop and more of a 2-3 minute strange feeling followed by it being less tight and it happened whilst driving (changing gear!!) my right one feels tighter but I guess thats the stronger muscle as I’m right handed and did used to weight train chest at the gym until a month ago! can you see that it looks lower down?

I’m going to have to have a good look now – it just feels different – let me check lol x

my left one popped to what seemed into place and thats the one thats lower. today at my post op the nurse said my left is sitting perfectly now and now my right needs to catch up. so i wonder if it has just dropped into place? xxx

Ahhh thank god it’s not just me!! I was panicking that it had somehow popped out of place or something!! @brunette800 Does your left feel more like your own now? It’s so strange and hard to explain!! xx

yes my left feels like my own now it feels more squishy and just feels like its in the best position where i cant feel it anymore as an implant 🙂 where as my right still feels like a weight is on my chest wall its so wierd its like a pressure!, ive just uploaded a few photos think my boobs were a little uneven pre op and im still thinking if they will just heal the same 😐 mr traynor said they were perfectly symmetrical but could you give your opinion please?

Ok I had a good look and it’s slightly lower, and not as pronounced at the top as it was!

I’m now lying and I literally feel like the left one is party of me but the right is tight!!

@brunette800 mine look just like yours, like I’ve has got slightly lower, I’m sure our other side will drop soon. I’m right handed so might take longer! Xx

Ok so this morning my left, the one which ‘popped’ feels much lower, like I can feel the bottom of my boob touching the skin below, so strange?

It looks the same a the right though. Right still feels quite tight .

Still freaking out, does this boobie journey ever end lol. I want to feel normal again without worrying!!

Just want to post an update, a lovely Mya nurse saw this post and just called me to check if I was okay! I really appreciate that!

She thinks it could have been an air bubble popping which released some tension, and as long as it isn’t swollen or painful not to worry. Thought I would update in case any girls go through the same issue! xx

I had exactly the same thing and I still get it some times 4 weeks po, my right boob used to feel like it was just moving around in the pocket it was one of the worst things for me, made me feel sick every time I’d get up itd feel like it dropped. It does go away though!! I barely ever feel it now x

Yeah @ellieberry, that’s exatly the way to describe it thank you lol!! It’s like it’s not attached to anything anymore and it’s just moving around inside the pocket!! I was worried I would walk and it would drop down to my belly button or something lol. Whereas my righty is being held in place by the muscle at the top!

Yeah my left has never moved but my right always used to mor around everywhere. My right is still painful from time to time but my left has been since about a week po. Not sure if it’s painful because of that weird dropping feeling. I’m looking forward to my 6 week check to see if everything’s ok though. I’ve been a bit worried as my right looks a lot bigger than my left as I had a bigger implant to sort out asymmetry but now I think it’s reversed and my old small boob is now my bigger boob 🙁 🙁 xx

So glad iv read this my left boob has done the same dropped and iv got a wierd feeling like my implant is sloshing around inside my boob rang the nurse and she said it probably alittle bit of fluid still as I’m only 3 weeks post op tomorrow just want to feel normal 🙁 feeling consurned xx
