Strapping

Aargh girls my strapping is driving me mad, I’m 5 days post op and it’s starting to cut into me under my armpits :(, anyone else had this? Xxx

I’m day 6 post op Hun and the strapping is awful I’m itching like mad! Having it off tommorow just try and leave it alone! I know it’s hard but will be worth it in the end! Xx

Yea it cut me all under my arms. It wasn’t as bad first time so he must do it tighter on some than others. I rang nurse and she advised me to cut some bits off and loosen bits so I did, I loosend all round the front (top bit) under my armpits and cut off the bits that were hurting my shoulder blades, if its not just itchy and uncomfy but it actually hurts ring the nurse n tell her its cutting in, cause its not nice as it is been uncomfortae and the tape hurting aswell. Is your nurse leanne kirsty? Xx

It doesn’t itch, it just feels tight and it hurts under my arm pits, like it was digging in so I peeled it down abit and I can see red lines where it has cut my skin 🙁 no Hun my nurse is Jenny xx

Hi Kirsty like Beckie said just ring your nurse my nurse is Jenny and she told me to cut under my armpits coz they drive me mad but started hurting and rubbing I was so relieved on day 7 to get them taken off xxx

I had this really bad I went in a day early to have it removed it was stuck that right it left me with burn marks x

She should still advise same had my last check with Jenny. Mine was same pulled loadsa skin off so it was raw had lil cuts all over my back bit were tape was and it cut in underneath armpits. It won’t hurt to loosen it, when I had mine taken off she said a lot of girls take it off there selfs. So just peel some itl make next 2 days a lot more comfy xx

Hi there, I had an elastic cloth one and had to wear it for two weeks and yes ouch it really does curpt in doesn’t it. I put some tissue underneath and it helped a bit. Xxx
