Strapping is off bit still no showers for me :-(

Feels so good to get the strapping off! However I’m still not allowed to have a proper shower as 1 of my incisions hasn’t fully closed 🙁 my nurse was lovely and told me not to panic it will be fine but I can’t help but wonder if this is normal/ok. Anyone had a similar situation?

Anybody? I’m really fretting 🙁

Has my strapping off today I have told same got some sterile strips over incisions till thurs then I can take a shower but not wet myself through

I feel abit better now I know know I’m not the only one. I’m not allowed to short till my nurse has seen me again. Argh was so looking forward to a shower. Thanks for response Amy, happy healing xx

Hey holly I’m 4weeks post op and some of mine has come undone I got water prof dressing from boots that has done the trick and some gel thing in it to heal it x

I’m the same Had it off today and not aloud a shower until New Year’s Day. Xx

I’m 14 weeks post off from a reduction and still can’t bath or shower, you’ll cope for a bit longer, honestly!
