Strapping nightmare ??

I’m 4 days PO with round HP 325 and 350 implants. Everything was going well until early this morning… I’d heard some of the issues with the strapping but I hadn’t realised just how bad it could get!! I woke up at about 2:30am this morning and my strapping had split, underneath the whole of my breasts were covered in blisters and oozing ?? I woke my husband who said to wait until the morning.
After a trip to A&E where they removed the strapping …. Carefully to discover more blisters and gave me antihistamines.
All I will say is if you think something is not quite right… Get it checked and don’t leave it ?

Oh Cath I do sympathise with you mine didn’t split and I have burn marks from the strapping I took my bra off this morning and there was spots of blood and yellow on it. I left my bra off for a bit to let it dry out and seems ok now. My pain seems worse now I’m wearing a bra it is digging in my bruises (not much bruising thanks to arnica) so on ibuprofen and ice now. What have you got now just a bra? Xx just thought I would add this so people realise to expect some pain I am day 8 PO now ?

On my second bra of the day, the nurses suggested some antiseptic wipes – non sting!! And then leaving the wounds open. Lots of painkillers because now my bra is digging into my scar and desperate shooting pains! I wouldn’t mind but I go on holiday next Saturday ?? thanks for your help hon xx

Not much of a holiday then I am going from Redditch to Newcastle for a funeral Tuesday not looking forward to journey. I am sitting here with bra undone now cos I can’t stand it digging in lol xx
