Hi girls, my strapping is due to come off on Thursday and although it is uncomfortable its not bothering me too much. A lot of girls on here develop sores so I’m wondering should I take my strapping off now or wait for the nurse? Thanks xxx
Im the same lexi my strapping is due off tomorrow but Iv actually found it quite supportive and haven’t really wanted it off so I think I will keep it on and hope for the best. I imagine if your at home though you can take your time getting it off if it hurts.xx
Thanks Kim! I’m not sure if the gurls with sites are ones who the strapping realky bothers, as it isn’t bothering me too much im thinking maybe I won’t get the sores? Just not sure what to do for the best xxx
Mines due to come off Friday but it’s really itching me so I want to take it off but I tried a little bit earlier and it hurt so much!! So I’ve chickened out unless someone can give me tips on how to get it off haha x
Hi Elizabeth Mr Singh told me it’s best to get off with a hairdryer but I think that sounds painful!! I think im going to wait and get my nurse to do it, I’ll only freak out if I see the sores on my own won’t have a clue what to do?! Ha xxx
Hi lexi really wish I read that before as Iv been thinking today about the nurse probably doesn’t have as much time to take it off slowly, so I just got my bf to take it all off but the bit keeping the plasters on and it hurt so so so much underneath my arms especially but we did it really slowly stretching the skin as we pulled so I probably would do it before I look really red now! And my boobs look like stuck on cones and actually abit too big but they are still swollen! Xx
Girls youve all paid so much money and your risking the outcome with taking it off, please be patient. Youve probably all waited so long for boobs so 1 week strapped up shouldnt matter. Yes its annoying but I found the sports bra on the week after more annoying and restrictive than the tape. Also where the seem on the bra sits is right on top of your incisions.
Thanks girls im just worrying because by one boob is so swollen and painful im worrying that this is because my strapping is too tight I literally can’t move without being in pain. Is this normal? I had my op friday xxx
