Strapping off…pics up!

Hi girls! I’ve just added new pics from yesterday when I had my strapping off. Still very swollen, but I’m over the moon! Was actually quite shocked at the size!
Pre-op 32c/34a. Had 500cc round overs, Mentor cohesive 2, with Mr. Singh on 9th May 2014 @ Highgate Hospital.

Hi samantha. I had 500cc partials last sunday. Was a 34b. Having strapping off today (cant wait!) Is it ok to add you? What does it feel like when it comes off? Do they feel really heavy? Do they seem a bit bigger when the strapping is off? Xx

Yes! I’ve accted you holly, and Ill add you Claire. They feel unsecure lol. I kept holding them up on the way home, was terrified they’d drop off haha! I found that when the strapping came off they actually felt lighter, probably cus the strapping was so tight. It wasn’t so bad having the strapping off, just like taking off a big plaster, the problem is getting all the sticky stuff off afterwards. Soap, hot water and a flannel…my boyfriend spent an hour trying to get the bloody stuff off. Mine looked a lot bigger than I had expected, after I had strapping off xxx

Ok. Yeh mine do feel heavy at the mo aswell. More nervous about what they will look like more than the pain of it coming off lol! How long was u in there for? Can you shower now? Can u wipe the incisions with savlon wipes or similar? Xx

I was in there for probably 15-20 mins. Yea I can shower now, not allowed to scrub the incisions or anything, the water is to just run down. Can’t submerge in baths or anything and just dab them dry. I was told not to use any products on them till 6weeks post op. I’ve used antiseptic around them though, as there’s no dressing on them any more xx

I’m having mentors and similar size too, please can I add u? It must be so strange having the strapping on and not knowing what they look like underneath, the suspense is guna kill me!! X does anyone know how long it will be till you can fully submerge as would like to go in a spa hot tub/ steam room etc

Thanks for the add Samantha, I also have one bigger than the other so having 550 put in the smaller one, yours look brilliant, if mine look as good as that I’ll be very happy xx

Course you can @charly123 . I was told at least 6weeks post-op you can fully submerge in water, as don’t want to risk infection. It was very strange knowing you have boobs, but not being able to see them properly. It was a nice surprise xx

Looking good hun soooo pleased to have strapping off. The glue was a nightmare lol incisions look great too 🙂 xx

I know tell me about it! How did you get the sticky stuff off @lauralou89x ? I’ve got most of it off with soap and water, but some of it just won’t budge and I’m finding the glue everywhere even in my hair! Such a nightmare! Thank you, they have dried blood all over them in pics, but I think they look pretty tidy. How you feeling? Xxx

Nail varnish remover hun don’t even have to scrub just be super careful not to get anywhere near your incisions!! I’m so happy couldn’t believe how much bigger they look without strapping lol. Feeling really good my macom isn’t the comfiest but plodding on 😀 xx

Hahn thanks chick! I’ll give it a go. Yea, mine isn’t all that comfy either feels ok around my boobs, but seems a bit short, I keep having to pull it down, as I’m scared it’ll rub on the incisions. Glad your happy and healing well 🙂 xxx
