Today I had my strapping off and i am in love already !! I started off as a 32a was offered 3 sizes and I choose the smallest and I’m so happy I did 🙂 left 375 right 350.
All is healing well…. can finally have a shower, but the nurse didn’t recover my stitches is that normal ? As I seen most have there’s covered again ??
I’ve added
a pic below …. still can’t believe it’s me xx
Sorry about the bloated belly x
Ooo that’s good then least it’s not just me, ye i thought the same it must be because we had full strapping.
Such a relief to have to off now just getting used to having boobs it’s so weird at the min I don’t like touching them think it’s because there so hard and new lol xx
Ye I thought the nurse had made a mistake or something when I had nothing covering them!
It feels so much better without the strapping doesn’t it! I literally couldn’t breathe for the first week!
It does feel weird doesn’t it, they still feel really alien to me and hard! I remember when the nurse took my strapping off and I looked down for the first time and thought what are they lol!?!
I am now post op day 10 and they still feel really bizarre when I take my sports bra off to shower! xx
So neat and perfect! You must be delighted!
ah they look fabulous!! I had 3 lots of strapping on and off for the first week when they finally took it off for the last time I was so relieved. I didn’t have any bandages either just sterile strips. First shower was so weird. Washing them felt alien but in a good way. My husband is still Afraid to touch them haha!
Are anyone’s numb at the bottom to touch? Think it’s normal just wondering how long it lasted for.
@icegems33 mine still feel numb in a few areas lovely, think it is normal. I found my first shower really weird too! xx
I had overs Hun .@jessica
Shower was weird did sting abit to. Any tips over the next few days ? I’m currently wearing sport bra as my Macom was to small. What bras are ladies wearing ? X
I was wearing my macom over my strapping but now I have just got some M&S ones, the post surgery black and pink zip sports bra and the extra high impact white zip sports bra they are quite comfy… but go up a back size because they come up really tight. Im always a 32 but it was quite tight so went with a 34 x
So can you wear the m&s one, once the strapping is gone is that ok ? The nurse only said sports bras me that’s why ? Which I don’t mind but it’s like weekend and going out it harder to hide the straps. Do the m&s have normal bra straps x
I’ve started wearing my M&S ones today (post op day 10) one is specifically for post surgery and the other is a high impact sports bra. They aren’t really like bra straps they are like a sports bra with the thick straps.
and
x
Amelia they look great! This is the exact sizing I’m having done, except mine are partials. But my right side also needed the slightly smaller implant too. How are you finding recovering? Xx
@ Lisa
Recovery was ok not going to lie was harder then I first thought it would be…. I’m going back to work today and diving and feel fine still abit tender in places but the nurse said that’s normal. X
Omg Amelia they look fab! I’m getting my strapping off this morning and could cry with excitement, can’t wait to get rid of it haha! Also I bought the m&s surgery bra but omg I couldn’t believe how small it was?! I was 32b prior to surgery, apparently with my implant aiming for DD. I ordered the 32 and 34 DD and E just to compare and I literally couldn’t get them on! Apparently the banding comes up small. I’m wearing a sports bra I had before now, it’s called Lorna Jane and I can’t recommend them enough anyway even before boobs (and they’re pretty!!). Happy Healing xx
