Strappings coming off

Thankfully I am going to my first post op today.
I can’t wait to get the strapping off and see what’s going on and how they will look.
I’ve not had to much pain, not as bad as I thought it could be, just been keeping on top of my meds. Yesterday was the first day I didn’t feel like I needed the pain killers so much. Most of the week I have been walking around like a baby t-rex.
I’m also itching to get in the shower, strip washings are all good but never feel quite clean. So I really hope I get the all clear for that.

Good luck Claire! I’m having my strapping off on Thursday and it can’t come soon enough! It’s just started irritating me under my armpits and I can’t wait for a decent shower! Let us know how you get on 🙂

Hi Claire how have you found the strapping? I found out on my pre op last week that ill be having it and so a little worried! Also sounds like it might be a bit of a nightmare to hide under clothes if i ventures out! Xx

Hi Kay and Clare, I know that feeling all to well under my arm pits was the worst, I had to keep pull it off slightly away from the skin now and then just to ease it. All I could do was keep trying to remember it’s coming off soon.
All went better then I expected just had a couple of butterfly strips over the stitches so I can’t catch them on any thing. Brushing isn’t to bad ether.
The sticky strapping was really well stuck in a couple of places. Och.
The nurse asked for me to stand so she could take a couple a after shoots, I really did notice the wight which was strange. Good but strange.
But I must say best shower ever????
So now its just about the wait. Let as know how you both get on too please girls it’s nice to girls around similar stage. Xx
