stretch marks

im a small 32a and always thought i wanted implants around the 525 mark! but now im worried i get stretch marks. do you think this is likely? xxxx

I started out as a 32c and had 445 in my smaller boob which has left me with a few small stretch marks! I think it depends entirely on the individual and how ‘stretchy’ your skin is naturally. They also tend to appear more on women who havnt breast fed/had children as they have never been stretched before! If your unsure, ask your surgeon and he’l advise whats best or you 🙂 hope this helps! Xx

I think its likely with any size implant as your stretching the skin! but with that size you most probably will, if you keep creaming before hand and after that will help loads I used bio oil for 3 weeks before I had them done and my skin was stretched quite abit and iv got no stretch marks (yet) you might not even get any xx

When did you start putting bio oil on after the op?

I started a week after, I had to stop because the tape he put around my boobs gave me a rash so now I use Vaseline cream

Hiya, I was advised by my surgeon the bigger the implant the more likely u are to get stretch marks, I’m booked in for October. I’m a 32b size 8 and when I had my Lil boy I went up to a dd! And got stretch marks on my boobs but not my tummy, so I know if I go for a bigger implant I will get them again. X

thanks for your replies girls! really frustrating having to compromise size with stretch marks, but oh well! does anyone know if unders prevent stretch marks more so than overs? x

I wouldn’t of thought so? im not sure, I had overs and im 5 weeks post op iv got no new ones I already had like 1 but not from getting them done and if anything its stretched it out so you cant see it haha, I honestly wouldn’t worry , atleast youl have big boobies a few stretch marks is a small price to pay, and as long as you keep creaming before hand and after you should be fine xx

yeah that doesnt sound too bad at all! i wouldnt mind the odd one or two if its not really bad but i dont think i could handle it if they were all over my boobs! maybe 525cc wouldnt make the stretch marks massive tho? rinaule your boobs look amazing what size implant did you have?! i hope i can be as close to that size as possible haha!!

theres loads of people iv seen gone from an A cup had 500 and then gone even bigger and no stretch marks atall you will be fine seriously don’t even think about stretch marks! I had 415 but I was already a C cup, going to get measured this weekend woo x

one of my friends went from a 32a and had 415s, she started putting bio oil on a couple of weeks before her op and also as soon as she had her dressings off, (obviously no where near her incisions) but she doesn’t have any stretch marks, i’d say it definitely depends on how stretchy your skin is as an individual though, I was a 32a and 32b and had 365 and 380 and I had tiny little ones, soon went after a couple of months of bio oil and sunbeds though 🙂
