I’m pale and more importantly, full of psoriasis. Don’t want to be orange but sure I heard you couldn’t go on a sunbed for 6 weeks. Anyone know why?

Hi Janet, I haven’t yet had my op, Im due to have it next Thursday!!
I have been told the same but I was told at least a year, if you are fair skinned id wait at least a few months as the scars redden with the uv lights.
My friend suggested wearing plasters over the scars?
Have you had your op? Let me know how you get on, as I’m fair skinned too but like the sun beds for a little glow..

Hi Jennifer I’m quite dark skinned and had light therapy in the past so skin quite tough. Hoping I can do the plasters thing. It just keeps the outbreak under control. Will only do a couple of mins. Fingers crossed. X

It’s 6 weeks post op because of the skin stretching over ur implants and sunbeds n sun can damage the skin. Scars should be covered for a year after x

Oh dear. Went on this evening and just put bra over bottom half of boobs. Lianne23- surprisingly it actually git better. Immune system actually having something to do and repair scars rather than just being bored and keeping itself entertained attacking perfectly good skin!
