Sunbeds?,

Hey girls can anyone give me any tips as to when and how I can go on the sunbeds, I can’t wait til I’m 6wpo a slag I have a holiday when I’m 5wpo!
Maybe I could cover the incisions?? Xx I don’t know. Help!

I went on from 6WPO, you have to cover your incisions for up to a year I was told from my nurse. I think if you cover them you should be fine? I just wanted to wait.. I’m loving being back on them now haha xxx

Hey Hun, I spoke my nurse today about this I’m just over 4 weeks po. She said I can use them now but I should cover my breasts not just the incisions because the skin is stretched and burns more easily. Also have to be careful with the incisions for 12 months as exposion to sunlight can cause pigmentation. X

Phew thankyou @orsika86 xxxxx what should I cover the incisions and boobs with? I need to start going on soon as I need a base tan because I’m soooo fair skinned I burn way to easily need to build it up before I go away in 3 weeks xxxxx

Hi vee I’m 3 weeks post op and am going away next week so I’ve been using the sunbed, I’ve been using a little strapping top that covers my incisions and over my nipples. As long as you keep the incision covered that’s the most important thing! Xx
