Hi girls

anyone far post op got any advice on what to use to cover scars on sunbeds? im 9wpo now….
Also with normal fake tan do you still need to avoid the area??/

Hey Hun I’ve been putting factor 50 on and thin plasters over my scars for the sunbed…only to protect them from darkening. As for fake tan you can put it on that area but I’ve also been avoiding it as much as I can but you can’t see anyway as the white bits in the crease xx

Hi Mae, I bought a roll of that stretch fabric strapping from boots (like a big roll of plaster really) it wasn’t expensive and I just cut a small piece off for each both scars each time I use the sunbed! Been doing that since 6 week post op, so far so good! Haven’t used fake tan on my boobs yet but I would if I needed to but I’m 15 weeks post op so my scars are completely healed. Thinking of getting a spray tan in 2 weeks time, just a bit nervous about getting my boobs out as the woman will obviously see the scars!! xx
