surgeon appointment around 12 weeks.

So you have a surgeon appointment at around 12 weeks post op.

I have been told that I don’t have to go as I hav been given all clear by nurse and have no issues. but don’t know wether I should go or not?

What happens at your 12 week appointment with surgeon? any advice please?

I think you could go just for a final reassurance and he might give advice that the nurse wasn’t able to give or hasn’t given so might be useful too. I’ve got mines booked in too following my 6 week check where I asked the nurse some questions about bio oil etc but she said to ask my surgeon that at my 12 week check and he will be able to advise accordingly. She did say I’ve healed well etc and gave all clear for normal bras but told me it’s best to have that final review with the surgeon so I think I’m going to go for my own peace of mind.

Yer ive decided to see surgeon so like you say I have that final reasurance. so im booked in end of July when ill be 16.5 weeks.
