    Hi everyone 🙂
When I had my first consultation with a surgeon he noticed I had a slight curve in my spine (Scolosis), he said it wasn’t anything to worry about and it didn’t need surgery to be corrected, but of course I am worrying about it and wondering if any of you girls have had a surgeon who’s noticed the same thing but its not serious?
I went for a X-Ray Tuesday just to see exactly the severity of it just to reassure myself and will get the results next week. Fingers crossed I will be fine and it won’t affect my BA in anyway.

Hi there, I can relate, I actually had full blown scoliosis which I was born with and at the age of 15 I had surgery to have it corrected mine was very severe I don’t believe it would affect your BA at all, did he find any difference between your boobs? I know it can cause unevenness mine are ever so slightly but I didn’t know that until my BA surgeon saw this, is he has seen it I wouldn’t worry it’s actually very common and most people are unaware they have it at all, I didn’t until my mum saw it when I wore a bikini I’m ten years post op now and it doesn’t affect my life at all, never did really! I wouldn’t worry I’m sure it will all be ok you really would’ve know before now if it was bad Hun! Good you had a X-ray to double check though, feel free to ask me any questions or add me!

Hi I have kyphoscoliosis, it developed in my teens, and was more problematic after my first baby. Mine is quite obvious and I asked my consultant what he thought and he didn’t see it as a problem and the surgery was fine as well X I thought the extra weight was going to make it worse, but somehow it’s feeling better X

Thank you so much for your messages ????

Claire – he only noticed that one was smaller than the other but it wasn’t a big worry for him. My curvature is at the bottom of my back and goes slightly to the right, I’ve just found out the results so I was definitely worrying way too much! I’m glad to hear that yours hasn’t bothered you at all after you’ve had it corrected, reassures me even though mine isn’t that bad, I’m a bit pathetic when it comes to things like this ???? Haha.

Sam – Hi Sam, that’s what I was worrying about, the extra weight of the new boobs and people always say you have to get used to your posture after having your boobs done don’t they? So you was okay? What about you Claire?

I’m 9 days post op now and I’m just getting used to the weight of my new boobs now, no back ache as of yet only thing I’ve struggled with is laying at angle for long periods of time

I’m now 10 weeks post op, and have a lot more confidence and my back is feeling a lot better than I ever imagined it would be. I was so worried about post op back ache, but touch wood it’s been ok. I have found I’m more posture aware, as I don’t want the weight causing problems. I was probably more cautious, and used heat packs on my back, and stayed on top of pain meds, try not to panic about your back, and trust your body xxx
