Surgery 12th April

Hi, does anyone else have their surgery booked on Friday 12th April at Preston. Getting excited now and it would be nice to speak to anyone else booked in on that day xx

Hi Kerrie, I’m having an uplift with 325cc implants. Never had great boobs but even worse since children. I’m excited/nervous too. It doesn’t feel real. What are you having done xx

I’m on the 12th April but in London Fitzroy.
I’ve been fine about it but now a little scared!! X

I feel the same Zoe. Just keep telling myself to enjoy the experience and only worry if there is something to worry about. Hope yours goes well x

Hi I am having the same but with 300cc…I’ve always hated my boobs as well and they got even worse after I had my son 5 years ago…getting very nervous! are you having Dr Mahdi as well? xx

Yes, I’m having Dr Mahdi. He seems really good at his job which is reassuring. I can’t believe how close it is now. It doesn’t quite feel real. I’m an empty 36b atm and he says I should roughly be a d-cup when it’s done. I’m not too bothered about the size really it’s mainly the position of them on my chest and the lack of fullness I’m bothered about. Hope I like them after spending all this money xx

I’m an empty 34 b/c so hoping for a d cup at the end ..although I’m the same as you it’s the position that im more bothered about…300 is the biggest he offered me…so hoping all will be ok…im nervous! but I really liked Dr Mahdi xx

He offered me up to 350 for my frame but I went with 325cc as the heavier they are the quicker they will sag again. On my last surgical appointment he told me he’d be putting them over the muscle which hopefully means my recovery time won’t be as long… I’m putting loads of snacks in my hospital bag to keep me entertained afterwards….I just hope I’m not too nauseous from the anaesthetic xxx

Yes I’m having over the muscle as well, Ive had an anaesthetic before and was fine, so hoping Il be the same! fingers crossed! xx

I’m in with Mr Mourin, I’m having an uplift and reduction. I have to be there for 8am too Kerrie. I’m exactly the same Diane. Keep getting excited then remembering the surgery xx

I’ve felt really nauseous from the anaesthetic. But much better this morning. Not really had much pain but I’ve had my implants above the muscle so I wasnt expecting too much. I’ve had a sneak peek when they took off my dressings to take my drains out. Hope you’re all feeling well. xx

I’m just awaiting discharge, no pain at all in the left but moderate pain in the right. Were you happy when you managed your sneak peek? Xx

Yes, the scars are so neat. They are really high and swollen on my chest this morning but they will drop over the next 2-3weeks. I’m trying to work out how to make the picture smaller to put on here but with little success. x

Before and 1 day post OP. They still feel really swollen but i only took off my bra to take a picture as it’s hard to see them with the bra on.

This one has worked! I’m up dressed…not in too much pain this morning…I was in agony on my right side yesterday but much better today..x

Mine look very similar, didn’t feel myself most of yesterday ..but have slept pretty well last night, just feel like I have lead weights attached to me at the minute x

Hi ladies, how are you both feeling? My left side is absolutely fine, but the pain in my right side has been pretty bad. I had my dressings changed yesterday at the Leeds clinic and I have blood again on my right side. Is anyone suffering from anything similar? Your pictures look amazing Diane! When’s everyone going for their post op appointment? Xx

Hi my right side is slightly more achy than my left…but have been loads better today…my first day was terrible on my right side though…it was much more swollen than my left and had to swap my bra as it was digging in… ? my first post op appointment is on Thursday at 10.30am in Manchester, haven’t had any blood though, hope you start feeling better soon! xx

I am still very very bloated though…? x

I havent any new blood but I have two little spots that I’ve had on since they changed my bandages. I feel like I’ve got a bruise appearing on my left side. I stopped my pain relief yesterday as I didnt feel i needed it but I woke in the night and they were swollen and painful underneath where my bra sits again. I think I’ll stay on the ibuprofen more from the anti-inflammatory side of things as it seems to really reduce the swelling for me. I think when they swell is when I feel it pulling on the stitches underneath. My post OP appointments on Tuesday with it being Easter weekend. I’m booked in the hairdressers tomorrow for it colouring mainly so they could wash it for me ?. x

Hi ladies, hope you don’t mind me joining. I had an uplift and implants on the 8th April so been following others who have.
Becca I’ve got some blood too, from my right areola and I can decide whether to ring and try and go and get them changed or not. I’m still bloated and my right boob hasn’t moved at all yet.

Hi Caroline, lovely to hear from you. Hope everyone is well. Is everyone else still feeling uncomfortable and swollen? I’m not taking many pain killers anymore so I’m hoping it’s due to this why I feel the same but I just wondered if any of you are still uncomfortable and tender. I think I’ll feel more reassured when I can see the stitches/scars. xx

I’m feeling very nervous today!! do you ladies have someone staying with you? I’m being dropped off and then picked up Saturday morning …off to buy some magazines etc later!! xx

I’m in agony on my right side….? think I may have a trapped nerve…? it’s a lot higher than my left.. just hoping its settles and drops down…DR Mahdi has been in twice since my operation this morning and isn’t concerned…..how about you? x

Morning ladies I’m just having a coffee before my appointment il let you know how it goes…I haven’t seen my stitches yet so will get a pic if I can…feel a little nervous! im still very bloated…but not quite as bad as I have been…not taken any pain killers for the last 2 days…Ive been very lucky and managed to wash my hair twice since Friday…but have the hairdressers booked for next week for a colour ?…x

Kerrie, your messages have just come through today. The hairdressers is the best, enjoy. So happy you’re pleased with yours and I’m glad your bloating is getting better. I have had my post OP appt today, it’s been delayed due to Easter. I’m healing well but one area is still not fully closed so my bandages are back on. I have to go back again on Friday for them checking. Hope they’ve healed but the scars looked amazing. i was so impressed. xx

Evening ladies, my messages have all been approved, however, they are all mixed up now….anyway hope everyone is feeling ok? I’m in no pain at all anymore, my next appt is Thursday and am really looking forward to seeing the scars again as they looked so good last week..xx

I’m good thanks Kerrie. I had my bandages off on Friday and have just got the micropore tape on my actual stitches now which I’ve to change every 5-7days. I changed it last night and pulled a bit of my scab off on my T-junction so that’s a bit sore but they said dont worry if you do that it will still heal. I’m impressed with my scars on my actual breast though. It’s like a pencil line and in some places it doesn’t even look like a cut ever existed. So glad you are happy with yours. Have you still got bandages on then with you needing to go back? xx
