Surgery close to Christmas

Hi girls, for those that are po ……… the earliest I can book surgery for is 7th December due to having to be on medication (not ba related) for 6 months pre op. I know everyone heals at different rates, but would you say I’d have mobility back and not feel crappy for Christmas? Or would you leave it until the first week in the New year? x

I think that’s a good time. You’ll be 2WPO around Christmas so you’ll be feeling yourself again, plus you can cover any strapping up with jumpers around that time! Just maybe do your Christmas shopping before the op lol 🙂 xx

Haha I’ll have to dig out my very apt Christmas jumper with 2 Christmas pudding on the front ???? I don’t even brave the shops I do it all online!

I’m a bit annoyed as was told if I had a doctors letter (which cost me £18) I could of had it done at 4 months but the story has change now back to 6 months ???? Xx

Mines the 20th November. I wouldn’t have left it any later but i have 3 kids to run round after/shop for and Xmas school holidays so wanted to have been mostly healed
I think it depends on how much you have to do x

That seems harsh! Did someone tell you the 4 months thing in writing? If you got a text or email saying that I’d be jumping up and down to have it earlier x

MF1105 – thanks for your reply I have 2 kids, my youngest is 2 at the end of November. I just don’t want to be grumpy over Chrismas and be able to join in.

Hannah – Can’t beat online, I’ve been looking at dresses online today as got a hen do this weekend in Newcastle and refuse to buy a new dress as its not the style i’d choose to wear when I have boobs ????

I have the text my pc sent but she’s just emailed saying it has to be 6 months from date of prescription ???? offered me 8th Dec though x

Yeah I get you, half of the dresses in my wardrobe now I’m like, I don’t need them now I have boobs! Haha.

The 8th seems a good date as it’s a Friday, I had mine on the Friday. Always helpful as you have the weekend where people are normally around and can help you with things 🙂 x

Ate you having unders or overs? Ladies with overs tend to be alot quicker to recover x

I’m booked in for 8th December! Hoping I’ll be able to hide my new friends under my Xmas jumper so that all the family don’t know about them! I have two little ones too but thought a couple of weeks would be plenty to get back to myself! Xx

Mine will be the 20th December! Luckily I have no children to look after and I will be the one being looked after by my mum and boyfriend!

Hannah – I’m not sure if Friday is Mr Netri’s day as all the dates she read out were Friday’s. But yeah good for having people around.

MF1105 – I’m having unders, I want a more natural look, and am leaning more towards the mod+. What have you gone for?

Katie – have you not told many people then? I keep saying I’m having new puppies for Christmas …… people look at me gone out because they know I don’t like dogs lol. I’m hoping my eldest who is 10 will help out a lot.

Holly – hassle free recovery for you then lol. I will milk it with my mum and eldest son as long as I can as no boyfriend lol
