thank you. Feeling good I am now home propped up in bed.
I was discharged at 5pm, the drain removal was fine, i felt the left one but it wasn’t painful and then the right one I didn’t even feel come out.
So far so good painwise I haven’t taken any pain relief yet (although don’t want to jynx it!). The nurse said everyone has different experiences with the drain removal and depends on your pain threshold so I think I have been lucky so far.
I have my m&s high impact post surgery bra on (took the nurse and my partner to zip it up due to it not bring worn yet, was a laugh to watch!.)
Want to say a massive thank you to all the team at Mya, i had such a good experience today especially the guys in the surgery room prepping and the ward nurses. I think one of the nurses names was Immen and she was fab! Sadly didn’t get to see her before I left to thank her face to face (she was a lifesaver with the antisickness injection!)
