Hi girls! Now iv finally made a decision (or sort of, still need to pick exact cc) I just wondered if you could help me out for surgery day! I’m travelling to Preston from Newcastle so I’m wondering the cheapest way to get there (mam is coming with me and she cant drive) and looking for cheap hotels? Have you found it easier to travel down the night before? If I travel by train is it comfortable enough to get the train back the next morning? Apart from the sports bras, any other essentials I should take?

I am also TERRIFIED of getting put to sleep. I often experience sleep paralysis which is horrific, so all I keep thinking is thats what its gonna feel like for the entire surgery and I’m gonna be tortured! I know its pathetic haha, but if you’ve experienced it before you know how absolutely horrific it is! So any words of encouragement are welcome!

Did you also feel sick after surgery? I also have a phobia of being sick, so that terrifies me too! I’m an absolute nervous wreck!!
    Thanks all x

You’ll be fine Hun honestly I am the worlds biggest wimp, ask Them to give you antisicknese while your asleep and you won’t wake up feel sick. The first time they didn’t give me any and I woke up feeling awful and took an hour to go buy this time I told them i will feel sick and they gave it me before I woke up and I didn’t feel one little bit sick! Also my first time I took a suitcase full of stuff and I didn’t need any of it! So this time I literally wore the clothes I was wearing to leave, took my phone, charger, pair of slippers and a big comfy jacket/dressing gown and obviously my post op bras! Maybe take magazines or iPad but I was only waiting less than 2 hours before surgery and I had my boyfriend there so I just watched tv and a lot of nurses doctors surgeon etc come and see you the time flew for me! 🙂 xxx
