Thought I’d post this as I found posts about teardrop implants hard to find!
I was admitted at 06.45 and went down for surgery at 10.30, I was literally petrified of the GA as I’ve never been under, I had a little cry but the anaesthetists were fab and made me laugh and reassured me before I went off to sleep, you don’t remember a thing! It took me ages to come round, I felt sick so was given antisickness and I’ve been really sleepy all day but managed to have some food, a walk up the corridor and get changed. The pain isn’t unbearable but pretty uncomfortable, stingy and tight but just make sure you ask for pain mess as soon as they’re due, it helps!
Not looking forward to sleeping upright tonight, I also have drains in that is removed tomorrow and strapping just underneath my boobs which is removed tomorrow morning then I can shower and put into a sports bra.
I’m pretty happy with the results already considering they have a lot of healing to do, my nipples are swollen and boobsa are like rocks!
Sorry for the essay but all your op day stories really helped me! I’d say worst part is waiting to go down and then waking up, but you see your boobs and forget about it! X
