Surgery Monday 14th of September ekk anyone else?

So I’m going for surgery on Monday. Currently a 34c, use to be 34D but due to weight loss lost volume my surgeon and I have decided 450cc and 500 (one breast smaller than the other) I’m hoping I’ll be DD/ E max. My surgery is this coming Monday and my admission time is 9am. I’ve done lots of research. For my surgery day I’m just bringing joggers, zip up too and zip jumper, comfy shoes, baby wipes, deodorant, lip balm, gum, tooth brush and tooth paste, post surgery bra – Macom, charger, headphones, phone, id, medication that I take and that’s it I think. Have heard people taking iPad and books but think I’m just going to leave it at home. Then for after surgery – staying in a hotel, I’ve got energy drinks, haribos, cookies, teddy fleece v shaped pillow, memory foam travel pillow to wear at night with my v pillow, zip up tops etc. Ended up buying a M & S high impact post surgery sports bra however it seems pretty tight so will see how it is:
Thought I’d do this so other people can see what to bring, if others have there surgery soon and wanna can’t and also got people who already have had it and have any tips xxxx

So exciting best of luck @Sam I had my surgery on wednesday afternoon and got home yesterday. Sound like you’re all prepared! I was so thirsty after surgery and drunk loads of water so make sure you have lots next to your bed. My surgeon recommended I keep on top of my meds even if i felt okay so followed his advice and was taking paracetamol and ibuprofen at set times throughout day and night and have coped fine. They gave me a fast acting laxative so recommend getting some if you dont have any because the anaesthesia meds make you constipated and very bloated. I was same bought a m&s night impact sports bra and thought it was quite tight but the nurse said that it needs to be to keep new boobies in place. I took a book but didnt read it just watched TV and on mobile phone alot between sleeping. Best of luck is so worth it!!

I forgot to take a dressing gown so you might want to take one when you go for the op. I didnt go with mya so not sure if it’s the same but I had to change into a hospital gown and had to walk to the surgery room and everyone can see your behind if you dont have one. Thankfully I was at a private hospital so they had spares and gave me one. I also needed slippers too x

Sorry I didn’t see your first part of the message until now, weird !
Aww how are you managing ? Yeah she’s you always keep onto of your meds as you might think your okay then all of a sudden hit you. I’ve got a medication chart so I know what to take and when so I’m covered throughout and have breakthrough so I’m covered throughout. Make sure to just take iburophen after food and not on a empty stomach. And yes I’ve bought paracetamol, iburophen and senna tablets. So senna will help with the toilet so I’ll start taking them aswell as soon as I get home. Peppermint tea will help with the bloating. What size did you go for and unders or overs ? Sounds like you’ve got really good breast tissue already so I bet you will have great results! I’m really small framed up top and only had boobs when I breast fed and even then they were small. my surgeon was planning on doing 300cc dual plane round but after surgery he said he could only fit in 275cc but they look asthough they will be a small d at the mo if they dont shrink fingers crossed. My nipples are huge lol. Just had first shower today at 5days post op and feels so good to be clean. Did peel back my tape cos it got wet and he taped my whole boob and I did notice some slight red marks so not sure if cos the tape was so stuck on so tight or whether it’s the skin stretching so put some bio oil on boobs then taped them back up. I didnt go near my incision tape just dried that tape with a hair dryer lightly. Good luck hun hope you have a fast recovery! Xx

Thank you so much ! Yeah I was nervous. So literally went in so quick when I woke up I was just in shock, so I was crying 😂🙈 cried the whole time until I went home, I think I just didn’t realise I had actually got them done it felt so surreal. But yeah everyone looked after me. Haha my nipples have done funny and chubby too. Yeah yeah asking as the bio oil isn’t actually in the new cuts or scars that’s fine just be careful and only put it in the unaffected breast tissue. So we went for 450cc and 500cc As one boob was slightly bigger than the other. My recovery comes in waves, one minute I’m scoundrel everything myself and the next I’m literally stuck and can’t move 1cm 😂 when I came back tho I painted my nails. Yesterday I went for a walk and managed to paint my nails. Brushing my hair and everything else I am managing fine for my op being in the Monday. Let me know how your red marks are getting on. And can add me on social media or that if you want since where at similar stages. And ohh you had a shower that must of been so nice for you ! Love a shower. They said I could shower but I’m just on my own so I don’t think I’d feel comfortable right now so baby wipes it is 😂 going army style. Fast recovery to you too ❤️❤️ Xxx

Ah so happy for you hun! Congrats on new boobies bless you I’ve read so many people can get emotional after surgery is such a big deal and such a relief once it’s all over with! How are you feeling today? Have you managed to have a look at them yet?
Todays the first day mine have actually felt like they’re a part of me and not just stuck on lol. Cant believe it’s a week today I had them done its mad. They’re still solid but not as tight. I took my tape off again last night kept freaking out I was getting stretch marks and left the tape off and massaged them with some e45 cream like you said thought best not to use bio oil prob shoukdnt have used that the other day! And the marks this morning have already nearly gone thank god! Hope you’re feeling good xx

Thank you so much ! Yeah I know can’t believe I woke up crying and left crying 😂 was just in shock.
Yeah I looked at them today I noticed like near my nipple is really red which is worrying me I’m not sure if it’s like abit of my nipple coming away or what, but also my piercing is in that nipple so I don’t know if it’s the bar pressed in my nipple and making it red. Yeah like stretch marks etc can use creams and oils but you’re actual incision marks shouldn’t our anything on them until there fully healed like 6-8 weeks I think ?
Today is the first day I’ve been able to eat, haven’t eaten since Monday, and been sick, was sick this morning but been okay tonight. It’s like a rollercoaster, I’m okay one minute and then next can’t do anything 😂 hmm yeah that’s weird about the marks hopefully just from the tape ?? And that’s good you’re boobs are starting to feel more like you everyday. That’s so good. Hope your recovering well xxx

Are you with MYA ? I was meant to go with them but ended up going to a private clinic as was closer to me. I know with Mya tho they usually don’t tell you til the day before xx

Hi Nancy when I had my consultation they said to be that they would tell you the day before surgery. So you should hear by end of today. And omg good luck for tomorrow babe 😊 what you going for ? Xxx
