Surgery Monday 18th dec

Hi ladies, I’m booked in on Monday with Dr Mounir. I’m 5ft 6in, 8st 10, always been quite slim. At my consultation he advised I can have anything from 300cc to 400cc. I have chosen to go for 400cc, starting to get slightly nervous now and keep having dreams that I’m going to look really silly. Anyone else having surgery that day? Thanks

Yeah very excited but also nervous how you feeling? I have to be there at 8 as well… me too I’m already dreading been put to sleep that’s my biggest fear but hopefully we won’t need to wait too long x

My advice when the surgeon comes to see you ask what time does he think you will be in? I asked Dr Giannitrapani and he said 4 hours from when he came to see me and this was spot on. Try not to think about it too much. I had anxiety all day and really wished I had relaxed a bit more. Watch some tv try to take your mind off things xx

@nataliiegeorginaa I’m so nervous but I am a worrier tbh! Dreading sitting in a room for hours waiting I get bored so easily, will be driving my husband insane when we get there lol!! Oh really?! I’ve been put to sleep once before it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be felt like I had just shut my eyes then I was waking up lol! X

@josnow yeah thanks will do that, never thought to ask really. I have really bad aniexty think I might take my iPad so I can watch Netflix lol might help keeping me calm! X

Anything you can do to take your mind off will really help! I went to London on my own and I just couldn’t relax. Before I knew it I had no time left to be anxious I was asleep and awake again before I knew it! The staff will look after you so well. Are you overnight or just having BA? Xx

Hi Kayley just try to relax and anything you haven’t asked that will put you at ease they are there to help. Post op you will be so relaxed on the meds and sleepy so try not to stress xx

@josnow just a day case, now panicking about what to take with me lol. Trying to relax at home now but I will be stressing till I get there now lol x

@kayleykoo yeah I’m stupidly nervous! I’ve chosen 400cc understand but now second guessing as keep having dreams I’m going to look stupid lol! Think I’m just worrying for nothing! Crazy when you have wanted something for so long how I can still be so nervous when I should be excited! Do you have the admission time of 8am too? X

Haha I know i keep thinking the same, be wanted it for yeeeeears why am I so nervous?? Noo I’m 11 o’clock, what a shame! No they won’t look silly, I know what you mean though I keep second guessing everything!! I don’t know how I’m gonna sleep tonight?? I’m petrified and keep thinking the worst about everything!! Xxx

Hi Hun how did your opp go? I asked about you as I went into theatre but they didn’t tell me anything apart from everything went okay… how you feeling? X

@nataliiegeorginaa hey lovely yeah all went good ???????? They said I was second in so glad I didn’t have to wait long! On my way home can’t wait to get comfy in my own space lol!! How did you get on? You feeling ok? It feels so strange finally having boobs lol xx

Ohh good I’m glad everything went well for you! I was third on the list so I was after you…. I got on really well it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be I’m feeling fine just a little tender thank you! Hopefully you’ll be home soon and you can rest up in the comfort of your own home Hun! Its very surreal at the min for me, I know there there but I still can’t belive it lol xx

@nataliiegeorginaa luckily only took just over an hour to get home, now curled up in sofa lol. Finding it strange to get used to what just feel like pressure on my chest but not took any pain killers as yet so think that’s a plus. Aww were you, glad we didn’t have really long waits lol! Yeah I’m the same I can kinda feel them there but it’s like they aren’t mine lol. Not had a proper look at them yet if I’m honest had a couple of perks but should prob have a good look in a mirror, need to get this writing off too! Yeah think I’m pleased with the size pretty hard to tell at the min. Are you pleased with yours so far? You made it home yet? Xx
