Surgery on the 26th Aug worrying as had mastitis on the past has anyone else?

Hi everyone 🙂 kinda new to this, so not sure how to word it lol

Suffered with periductal mastitis
Inflamed breast ducts and causes (pain and discharge from the nipple) from smoking for years and years, gave up in November and it went completely, last week I had the tiniest amount of white ish discharge from the nipple and now I’m in complete fear I’m going to get an infection after the implants are in or something will go wrong… so stressed I’m causing myself more pain in my Breast 🙁 been to see the doctor and she examined me saying it all seems absolutely fine and no signs of mastitis so why did I get the discharge last week grrrr

Has anyone ever had any type of mastitis and did it affect your implants?
It’s so hard because it’s not common so don’t know anyone else in my situation

Hi Hun, I’m not sure if it’s the same kind of situation but I have had mastitis in the past from breast feeding. The surgeon gave my nips a good squeeze to make sure there was no secretion. Xxx

Hi thank you for your reply, umm that’s mastitis caused by breastfeeding etc where as mine is from smoking…have you had any issues since having them in? Has your mastitis returned since you had your implants? Xx
