No, no email, keep refreshing, probably Dr Netri’s haven’t been sent out yet then. I’m more nervous about not knowing what the pain will be like. What implant have you gone for? Xx
I am at London Fitzroy Dr Giannas I am having 400 cc Hp overs can’t wait I am currently a very empty b after having 5 children who were breast fed ans then losing 6 stone x
I’m going for either 375cc or 400cc HP. I’ve had rice sizers on this week at home at they feel a bit big… so still not sure! Dr Netri has ordered 3 different sizes for me. What about you? I
I’m having 295 in left and 320 in right. You can always ring the hospital and they will tell you your admission time. I’m wondering how long after admission until your in theatre? Xx
i had mine on sunday my admission time was 1 but then they rang me that morning to say no rush to go between 1 and 2 so i got there about 1:15/20 i got taken up to my room about 7 mins after and went down to theatre at 2:45ish so wasnt waiting too long. pain after surgery was hardly there! it was the day after when it started more but for me its not overly bad.
being put to sleep is what i was really nervous about but its not bad at all! the worst thing now is sleeping sat up its horrible im awake half the night then feeling like a zombie but apart from that everythings good so far xx
Ah fab! Are the nerves kicking in yet? I don’t feel that nervous now but for the past week I have been flapping about been put to sleep! I’ve finally accepted needs must and I’m sure it will be fine 🙂 so excited now! What have you packed to take with you? Xx
So far I’ve got my bra, a zip up hoodie and my leggings to wear home, some throat sweets as I read on here you wake up with a dry throat, plenty of drinks and a cushion to put between my chest and the seatbelt for going home. I don’t have a clue what else I’ll need. Xx
Oh yes – forgot I’ve obviously got the bras too!! Cushion is a great idea!!
People mention different lotions and potions and ice packs etc but think that is stuff for at home isn’t it!!
I just hope the recovery isn’t too bad – I don’t know how much pain to expect.
I don’t feel nervous at the moment, more excited now than anything. Haven’t started packing yet as I’m away for the day too! I’m going home after unless I feel it’s necessary to stay in Preston xx
I plan to go straight home all been well. I live 1.5 – 2 hours away so the car journey won’t be much fun!
I can’t believe how quick this has come around, it doesn’t even feel real yet!! xx
I came to Nottingham to meet Dr Netri s couple of weeks ago so yes it is about 2.5 hours. Early start for you tomorrow? Or are you staying in Preston tonight?
Yes leaving about 5, and no I’m not staying, (yet) will have to see tomorrow as I don’t know how well/straight forward it will go or not, so if I need to stay then I will xx
@kiera I have my surgery next week and was wondering with you having your admission time after lunch time did you have to stop over the night after op or did you go straight home after and if so, what time?
@sealy77 i was out of surgery at half 4 and had to stay in abit longer cos of my blood pressure and heart rate, but i was allowed to leave at 9:30pm i had already booked a hotel for that night so i stayed in the hotel then went home the morning after xx
Hello! I’ve been good thank you! Mobilising well too supringly and managed to sleep, I love mine too, just need them to drop slightly but all in time. What size did you go for in the end and did Mr Netri leave drains in? Xx
I am having 400 cc Hp overs on Sunday the nerves have kicked in now and I am panicking a bit now x my surgeon doesn’t use drains but I am staying over night near by just in case my admission is 730 so hopefully I will b the first on his list
