How soon before the day do you find out what time your surgery is? I have a BA op booked for Friday but still no idea what time I need to be there. Also, how long are you there if you don’t stay overnight? I’m guessing they don’t just put you to sleep, slice, shove em in, stitch it back up, you wake up and off you go? Xxx
I messaged my pc 4 days before my op and she told me my admission time !! Ad time was 7.30am and i left around 5pm. They dont rush you to leave and they will keep you for as long as necessessary. I could have stayed longer but i was quite bored after laying in the bed for so long xxx
hi daisy, i was there 12 hours! i have no idea why i was there sooooo long!!!!!! my boyfriend went and did some shopping and came back for me cos i was sleeping and watching films happy enough! i had my admission time about 3 days b4, the clinic rang me to tell me. x
You have to stay atleast 5hours after surgery so your blood pressure can be checked every 20mins.. You also have to eat a meal before they let you go!! This is from my experience anyway 🙂
Finally got my time- I have to be there at 9.30 but surgery can be up to 3 hours after that. Emma I’m so jealous of your 8.30 admission!
My brother is coming with me now as bf has to work but he’s dead against it but now I keep having nightmares that he’s going to make me miss my slot on purpose!
I’m in at 11:00 tomorrow. So jel of you lot having early ones!!! Im going to be a nervous wreck by about 9 haha!

I am a day case. I am so excited, been wanting this done for years now and finally the time has come! Does anyone else panic that something will happen and you will get all the way there and its cancelled. I think it is just me being silly! Probably because I am looking forward to it so much! x
