Hi, they do advise that you stay up in London the night before….I. staying at an apartment round the corner so my partner can stay. I too and 2.5hrs away without traffic and you can’t park near the hospital…bare that in mind. Honestly it’s worth looking at staying the night before so you are there and ready. We have booked an apartment for 2 nights as you dont know what time you’ll be sent home,I’ve seen some saying they were discharged at 11pm! Plan ahead lovely so it’s not stressful for you.
From what I’ve seen most are in the hospital by 7am then you get taken down one by one every few hours x
