Surgery tomorrow and still no admission time?!

Hiya…
I’m in for surgery tomorrow as a day case and still haven’t received my admission time?! Is this normal? I’m pretty sure they think people don’t live hundreds of miles away from the hospital and have babies/children to sort out!! Xxx

I didn’t have my admission time to the day before either. They do usually say 48-24 hours before which is quite annoying when you need to make plans lol!
I did also have a problem with my booking as well, when I called about my admission time as I didn’t hear from them my booking wasn’t showing on the system so I had to change to a overnight case, this actually benefited me in the end!
If you haven’t heard by 11 I would definetly call them Xx

They said to me 48-24 hours before too! But it’s less than 24 hours now! I’ve just rang head office to see if I could get a answer from them and she couldn’t find me on there system, she’s going to give me a call back at half 11! Xx

I am so nervous too but then I keep telling myself just to sit back and enjoy it. Let me know how it goes. We are going to be fine 🙂 x
