Surgery tomorrow any tips or advice?

hiya girls,
I have surgery tomorrow my admission time is 8am at Preston, is there any tips or advice what anyone who has already had surgery can give me, I’m excited but starting to get a little nervous and I know I’ll be really nervous tomorrow when I arrive.

Hiya. I had my op almost 2 weeks ago at Preston. There isn’t much advice because there is not much to prepare. I put fresh bedding on my bed that morning and gave my house a mini spring clean as I wouldn’t be able to do much that week. The main advice is to take food with you for after your op!!! I was starving when I came around and you only get 2X toast and that took them almost 1 hour of me asking for it to come, by then the toast just didn’t do it.. ended up stopping off at the services on the way home to get a subway…. I would say try not to be nervous. The say goes so fast and runs so smoothly. Good luck ? Xxx
